Parliamentary electoral system[edit]
If I can rely on the electoral law of 2006 on the website of the UN (article 157), the parliamentary electoral system is two round majority; there can be districts with more than one seat, in which case voters can only choose among closed lists (article 89) and the list winning a majority of votes gets all the seats. --Bancki (talk) 09:46, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
This is confirmed by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and by IFES Election Guide, but according to IFES they have only single member districts.--Bancki (talk) 19:57, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
A more recent version of the electoral law (consolidated with amendments of 2011) on the website of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) [1] confirms two round majority, with the possibility of multi-member districts (in that case with closed list majority).--Bancki (talk) 20:11, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

- @Number 57: Yes, they are the results of the first round according with abamako.com. I think the criterion used by Adam Carr is absurd: why should we consider the votes obtained by the coalition RPM-ADEMA (and other lists), or RPM-URD (and other lists), as votes obtained by only RPM, or consider votes obtained by URD-ADEMA as votes obtained by only URD, so that we subtract to ADEMA both votes obtained by this list in coalition with RPM and those obtained with URD, falsifying the results significantly? In any case, even if we wanted to use that criterion, RPM obtained 708,715 votes (and not 708,716). --151 cp (talk) 13:16, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

- Sorry, I perhaps worded that badly. The results should be as you've presented them above, i.e. the actual results for the different list combinations. What I meant about the seats was that it wouldn't be entirely clear from the table how many seats each individual party has, unless we did a separate seats-only summary table underneath.
