Ties to Rigby[edit]

Re this text.

On Wednesday 22 May 2013, British soldier Lee Rigby was killed by two Christian converts to Islam, Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale.[2] The attack occurred three days in the aftermath of the murder of a British soldier in Woolwich, London, and is widely thought to have possibly been a copycat attack.[2][1][3][4][5][6]

The first source says explicitly President Francois Hollande said there was no sign so far of a direct link with the killing of a soldier in London on Wednesday, for which two suspected Islamists were arrested.

The second source says: French authorities are investigating whether the stabbing of a soldier in a Paris suburb was a copycat attack in the wake of the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, killed in London this week. ...

Other sources say "In an apparent copycat of the ambush in London in which a British serviceman was murdered" and "Detectives are convinced that he was ‘inspired’ by the savage murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, who died in Woolwich, south London, last Wednesday. .... Paris police spokesman Christophe Crepin said: ‘You don’t have to be a great observer to see that people are taking inspiration from what’s happened abroad" but then repeats the Hollande 'no connection'.

The last source makes no comparison at all, it simply juxtaposes two statements without making any relationship between them (eg "WP has many great editors. Pincrete has been editing for about 5 years and is ...").

The most that these sources can support is that there was speculation as to whether this was copy-cat. The names and other details of the Rigby attackers are irrelevant and have been removed. Pincrete (talk) 17:34, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name of Allah[edit]

Re: Dhaussy repeatedly invoked the name of Allah (God) during his detention., what the source actually says is "a source close to the case said. Dhaussy had repeatedly invoked the name of Allah during his detention." So, an unnamed source said Dhaussy prayed a lot in prison WOW! A Muslim who prays when he's in prison, whatever next!

errrrr relevance of this unsourced trivia?Pincrete (talk) 17:55, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
