Attendance figures[edit]

Since the UEFA site, which is official source for this page does not have the attendance figures, the attendance figures given on this page are unsourced and will be deleted. Is there any reason why they should stay on the page without a valid reference? Brudder Andrusha (talk) 15:13, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, we must provide a source for any information that could be contested. Since attendance figures are often vague, we must provide a source for them. If we can't do that, they must be removed. – PeeJay 16:19, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The parameter "unsourced_attendence" can be globally modified if a reference can be provided. One reference to the source of where the attendance is found is adequate. Brudder Andrusha (talk) 21:15, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Split article[edit]

four of the sections (and perhaps the list of teams) should be split off, as this article is well over 100 kB.--Jax 0677 (talk) 22:55, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

While I can see the reason for suggesting a split, the article could be slimmed down without reducing its utility. For example, in the first round, there are a list of matches with scores. Below, the matches are repeated with summary details and a link to the UEFA web site. Maybe, there only needs to be a matches section and the scores link directly to the UEFA website. If am not violently opposed to splitting (as long as some one else does it). However, recent bitter experience suggests that the split articles may get deleted once created.
