Purchase date[edit]

Page move[edit]

The building's current official name is BP Tower as seen on the Emporis/skyscrapers.com website. I've been there quite a few times and this is definitely the name in current usage. DirectorStratton 06:30, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move from "BP Tower" to "200 Public Square"[edit]

I am moving this page as this building is no longer called the BP Tower. See these sources:

Note: for the second source at clevelandmagazine.com, you need to click on "Read More" and then go to the "Towering Trivia" section where it reads "Formerly Known As: BP America Tower"

New name again?[edit]

http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2011/06/new_sign_on_public_square_hunt.html (June 3 '11) says "The skyscraper at 200 Public Square, known as the BP building, finally has a name and logo after more than a decade" but doesn't specify a formal name. http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2011/06/200_public_square_skyscraper_f.html (June 23 '11) still calls it "200 Public Square." "...[H]as a name...." above must just refer to the physical letters posted on the building face. Mapsax (talk) 19:39, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
