{{2009 MLB season by team}} is created. I see the article is under construction so it can be added whenever. —Borgardetalk 03:32, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spring Training info deleted[edit]

Spring training news and game log deleted in accordance with standard MLB season article format and with past St. Louis Cardinals season articles. Vidor (talk) 13:08, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Footnotes deleted from game logs[edit]

The scores from the game logs are freely available on such places as baseball reference, and are linked from this article via external links. Footnoting every final score will result in 162 extra footnotes. Last year's season article had 75 footnotes; this year's has 33 notes and we are still in the first week of the season. Footnoting every game will leave the article with well over 200 footntes. This seems excessive to me, unless the footnotes can somehow be hidden and revealed with a "show" function as the game logs are. Vidor (talk) 19:45, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
