Revert[edit]

Jonathanburger, regarding this edit, I'm assuming you just made a mistake in the unexplained revert you made? The Griffons links are broken, the event is current, not future, and the teams are not commonly known as Vodacom this and Xerox that. Greenman (talk) 17:39, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Greenman if I didn't explain myself regarding the revert. The edits regarding the Griffons link and the event period are completely acceptable, but I disagree with you on the team names. Growing up in South Africa and being involved in rugby myself, the common names for the provincial teams during the Currie Cup season are Vodacom this and Xerox that. This is how they are published and spoken about in a professional level. I understand in casual conversation we refer to the teams by a shorter name, cause who wanted to say Vodacom Western Province, we just say WP, Bulls, Sharks or Lions, but for the content of the article I really do think that the proper names are necessary.
