Fixes to help make this page better[edit]

So far there's decent information, but this article needs some serious work to conform to Wikipedia:WikiProject College football/Yearly team pages format; following that format will help this article rise to the best standards. For example: the use of block quotes for the individual game summaries is not appropriate. To see good examples to base changes off of, see the current Featured Article, 2005 Texas Longhorn football team, or the current 2007 Texas Longhorn football team or 2007 USC Trojans football team. --Bobak 20:16, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvios[edit]

It looks like some or all of the game recaps are just copied and pasted from other web sites. This is illegal and not allowed on wikipedia. The recaps need to be summarized in our own words. Go ducks! - Peregrine Fisher 04:48, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As long as the recaps are referensed, then it it okay. Dawg1279 16:11, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Referencing does not make it OK to copy text written by other people, we need to write them in our own words. See WP:COPY#Using_copyrighted_work_from_others. It's the part about creative expression vs. facts. They don't own the facts, but they do own their own words. - Peregrine Fisher 20:33, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
