Cleanup[edit]

The issue in my comment below seems to have been taken care of; I'm removing the cleanup tag. IronSheep 01:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC) There is a logical contradiction on this page - the series went to a 7th game, implying that the Rockets won 4 games to 3, and yet the chart shows the Rockets as winning 7-0. Can anyone correct the chart, or find a resource listing the outcomes of the games to do so? IronSheep 21:32, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

O.J.[edit]

I remember watching to OJ chase splitscreen in New York on WNBC. Can anyone verify that it wasn't shown?

Knicks-centric[edit]

Why is this page's main focus on the Knicks? They lost the 94 Finals. This article rarely focuses on the Rockets, who actually won it. Ultrabasurero 21:28, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Knicks' earlier playoff rounds do not belong in an article about the finals. Also, information about the Knicks' future finals appearance does not need to be included. I've gone ahead and changed most of the article to include more of the Rockets. Ultrabasurero 21:52, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've included some cool stuff but I think equal info should be given to both sides. So I might re-insert some of the Knicks info. Quadzilla99 09:52, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Olajuwon vs. Ewing[edit]

Some people seem to want to gloss over the fact that Olajuwon dusted Ewing, well I re-inserted it with numerous sources. Quadzilla99 15:34, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New York Rangers[edit]

I try to make it clear that the Stanley Cup Finals DID have an impact on the NBA Finals, with both the Knicks and the Rangers in their respective league's finals at the same time. Yes, Game 5 took place on the same day as the parade honoring the Stanley Cup Champions. Please try not to remove the section about the New York Rangers, as it had an impact on the NBA Finals. -- SNIyer12, (talk), 15:20, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In large part because the rest of the article is so sparse, this section seems to give undue weight to the impact to the NBA Finals. One might get the impression that most NBA Finals are uninspired except for this one which coincided with the NHL finals. It seems like any and every quote and detail tying the NBA to the the NHL is here, whereas most general summaries of the 1994 NBA Finals are not likely to mention anything about the NHL. There is an impact, but due weight is needed by both adding to the rest of the article, and paring some of NHL section down.—Bagumba (talk) 16:36, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Remove the section, not relevant to this article. Just like you have had the opposite information removed from the hockey versions. This section is not relevant to the subject of this actual article. It is mostly trivial to this topic. -DJSasso (talk) 14:16, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It has been mentioned quite often. Game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals has become part of Knicks lore. Knicks commentators often mention the game and that it took place the night before Game 4 of the NBA Finals. That's why I try to keep it here. -- SNIyer12, (talk), 19:10, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
