Nothing is ever simple it seems. The national league tables to level three in the Rothmans Yearbook 1988–89 show four points for a win, etc., whilst in the Courage Official Rugby Union Club Directory 1990–91 show 2 points for a win and one for a draw! I have used the four points for a win as used in 1987–88 Courage League but will have to check the newspapers at some point to see what they were using at the time.
