Wording[edit]

I am not sure it is fair to say that "MacKay would go on to enjoy a long parliamentary career representing a number of constituencies" A number would to be imply 3 or 4 after he lost Stechford. In fact he was MP for East Berkshire 1983-1997. In the latter year the seat was abolished and replaced by Bracknell, which Mackay represented until he left parliament in 2010. So in fact he basically sat for one seat (albeit with a name change) after Stetchford. I think it would be better to say at "MacKay would go on to enjoy a long parliamentary career as MP for East Berkshire (later Bracknell)", but would welcome other's opinions on this. Terry Davis and Bromsgrove[edit]

I have changed the claim that Davis "had served as member for the defunct Bromsgrove seat from 1970 until its abolition in 1974." In fact Bromsgrove was usually a safe Conservative seat which Davis did not gain until his (somewhat surprising) victory in the a by-election in 1971, so I have edited the article accordingly.
