I suggest we move this page to 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene, since I don't like the idea of having the main name of a page being a trademark name of a company. Not true Statement about organic bases[edit]

There are many stronger organic bases than the proton sponge, for example, conjugate bases of amines or even t-butanol.
