Blond hair and blue eyes

The moţi consider themselver descendants of the celts, especially because of their blonde hairs and blue eyes, which are unfrequent among Romanians This statement is absolutely false. I am originating from that part of the world I can tell you that blond hair and blue eyes features are not more or less apparent than in the rest of Transilvania. I would be curious to meet those 'moti' who make this statement about their origins... motz

What the...? A big majority of the Moldavians have blue yes, and many of them have darker blonde to brown hair. --Anittas 19:27, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Please refrain yourself in the future from personal attacks against fellow wikipedians. Could you cite some sources that made you come to the dismissal of the locals'opinion and categorisation of them as pure dacians? I'm not saying they are right and you're wrong. Interesting question. And what about the German miners settled in the region by Maria-Theresia? It is true, I am a from the region, people really have germanic features. Red hair is also much more frequent. It is unfortunately fist time I read about this, I am not sure if this subject was scientifically studied but the fact remain. It is possible that dacian influence was stronger, as I remember from Daicoviciu books, dacians had red hair and prominent bone structure (this is another feature in this mountains). It is not true! I am from the region too and what you say is BS. Red hair is not more frequent than in Maramures, for instance. The norm is brown/black hair and dark eyes, the same as in the rest of Romania. Germanic features?! Agree, in the way that they have a head, four limbs and a body...motz
