Phillip Ensler is an American politician who has served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives since 2022. He represents Alabama's 74th House district. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

Electoral history[edit]

He was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Alabama House of Representatives election against Republican opponent Charlotte Meadows. He assumed office the next day on November 9, 2022.

Biography[edit]

Ensler earned a Juris Doctor degree from Yeshiva University in 2017.[2] He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from George Washington University in 2012.[3] He has taught social studies at Lee High School. Ensler is Jewish.[4] He is the executive director of the Jewish Federation of Central Alabama and used to be an aide to Steven Reed.[5]
