Nitroapocynin is a mono-nitrated form of apocynin.

Synthesis[edit]

Apocynin can be nitrated with sodium nitrate and acidic ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate in acetonitrile solvent.[1][2]
