Nesa (Persian: نسا), also Romanized as Nesā’; also known as Nesā’-e Pā‘īn and Nesā’ Pā‘īn,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Nesa Rural District,[4] Asara District, Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 857 in 204 households, when it was in Tehran province.[5] At the most recent census in 2016, the population had increased to 862 people in 291 households,[2] by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[6]
