Karindara is a small village in the Martung tehsil of Shangla District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Karindara, has a rich history dating back to 1905 when Salarzai tribes migrated from Jawor district, Buner. Despite its modest size, with a population exceeding 7 thousand, Karindara boasts a vibrant community. Situated just 5 km from Martung Bazar, 110 km from Mingora, 65 km from Alpurai, and 375 km from Islamabad, its strategic location enhances its connectivity.

Education, though significant, faces challenges, with a literacy rate of approximately 73%, notably lower among females due to the absence of girls' schools in the area. However, efforts are underway to address this gap.

The village hosts two government schools, catering to primary and middle education. Many residents pursue careers abroad in Gulf countries and Europe, while others serve in various government capacities. Karindara also boasts professionals in fields like medicine, engineering, and law.

The village's climate offers pleasant summers and cold winters, showcasing the full spectrum of seasonal changes. Its scenic beauty includes lush jungles and abundant spring water, enhancing its allure.
