Josep Maria Comelles (born, 1949)^[2] is a Spanish^[3] anthropologist and physician.^[4] He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Rovira i Virgili.^[5]

Biography[edit]

Comelles graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona, received a Master of Science in Psychiatry^[3] from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology^[6] from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences.^[7]
