John Morrison (26 January 1889 – 26 January 1972) was a Scottish professional footballer who made 120 appearances in the Scottish League for Falkirk as a utility player.[1] After his retirement from football, he managed Third Lanark, St Mirren and Airdrieonians.[2] He was nicknamed 'Slasher'.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Morrison served as a private in McCrae's Battalion of the Royal Scots during the First World War.[3]
