Goniotrichales is a disputed^[a] order of red algae in the class Bangiophyceae.^[1]^[3]

Species[edit]

Goniotrichales may contain one family with a monotypic genus Goniotrichum.^[2]

^ According to World Register of Marine Species, the only genus it contains, Goniotrichum, is currently unaccepted and instead merged into Erythrotrichia.^[1] However, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service continues to classify it as a valid taxon.^[2]
