Goniotrichales is a disputed[a] order of red algae in the class Bangiophyceae.[1][3]

Species[edit]

Goniotrichales may contain one family with a monotypic genus Goniotrichum.[2]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ According to World Register of Marine Species, the only genus it contains, Goniotrichum, is currently unaccepted and instead merged into Erythrotrichia.[1] However, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service continues to classify it as a valid taxon.[2]
