"In the shade of the palm" from Leslie Stuart and Owen Hall's Florodora. Sung by Frank C. Stanley in 1902. This is Edison Gold Moulded Record #8066.

Florodora was the first big hit musical of the 20th century. "Tell me pretty maiden" was the runaway hit, with "In the shade of the sheltering palm" also quite popular.
