Earnest Allen Greene III is an American football offensive tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Early life and high school[edit]
Greene attended high school at St. John Bosco. During Greene's high school career, he was a four-year starter.[1] Greene was also a participant in the High School All-American bowl.[2] Coming out of high school, Greene was rated as a four-star recruit, the number 40 prospect, and the number two interior offensive lineman.[3] Greene also held offers from schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Ohio State.[4] Greene ultimately decided to commit to play college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.[5][6]
College career[edit]
In Greene's freshman season in 2022, he did not play due to lingering injuries and back surgery.[7] During the 2023 season, Greene earned the Bulldogs starting spot at left tackle where he played in and started all 14 games.[8] For his performance in the 2023 season, Greene was named Freshman All-SEC.[9]
Personal life[edit]
Greene is the son of former NFL and Super Bowl-winning offensive lineman Earnest Greene Jr.[10][11]
