Notability[edit]

SwiftLint is the leading linter for Apple's Swift programming language. Other notable (but much less popular) tools are Periphery and Apple's swift-format, but many people aren't aware of any tools except SwiftLint. e.g. try googling for "swift" "linter".

Swift is under-represented on List of tools for static code analysis generally, and SwiftLint does merit an entry. Mildm8nnered (talk) 10:32, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
