Proposed merge of Draft:Hapi-Line Fukui with Draft:Hapi-line Fukui[edit]

It appears that there are two drafts for the same railway company in Fukui being worked on. The ideal method is to follow the conventions on WP:CONSENSUS and merge the content onto one of the articles. Whichever article the content is consolidated needs to follow MOS:TITLECAPS, specifically regarding the capitalization of the word "Line" in the company name.

My suggestion is to merge the content onto this page per MOS:TITLECAPS#Hyphenation. "(do) not capitalize after a hyphen unless what follows the hyphen is itself usually capitalized." Exp691 (talk) 08:22, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Exp691 @XtraJovial I support keeping the capitalized name as this is a proper company name as far as I can tell. The "line" is not "train line". It's a proper part of the company name. The train line name would be "Hapi-Line Fukui Line". At the bottom of the website the copyright notice uses this capitalization "©2023 - 2024 Hapi-Line Fukui All Rights Reserved." So MOS:TITLECAPS#Hyphenation doesn't apply as this is a proper name, also that whole page is about "titles of works" so is entirely irrelevant to company names. Note: User:Waterfront32 already created the article in the mainspace named "Hapi-line Fukui" as of 6:06, 17 March 2024 (UTC). So I strongly suggest we should also merge the content in the drafts to that existing article because the amount of content the published article has is currently very limited. ~ SG5536B (talkpage | contribs) 12:45, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
