In 2019, rapper Kevin Gates published an album named "Im HIM," which started this popular trend among young boys/teenagers.
Telling somebody they are HIM usually means they are dominant or gifted in an area, or it could mean the person has done something special, and good for their team/selves, for example: "Mario is HIM!" or you could say "Messi and Ronaldo are HIM at soccer!"
