Yilick is an African Marketplace app to connect buyers and sellers online. Sellers can exchange their goods and services with buyers for cash.
Background[edit]
First released in November 2022, the app has over 1500 sellers, 20000 active buyers and more than 50,000 active ads. The ads are in the following categories;
Electronics, Vehicles, Fashion, Food and Agriculture, Machinery, Jobs, Services, Property etc.
In November, 2022 Yilick released its first app version on Google Play Store. The app was initially developed to handle a low traffic. However, due to an overwhelming increase in the number of users, there was need to upgrade the app. Another release was published on 1st January 2023 with a whole system upgrade. The new update included a new database structure, advanced ad management system by the sellers and ad promotion packages.
In April 2023, Yilick expanded its services to South Sudan with an individual app for South Sudan. The app was released on Play Store with a South Sudan Website.
Yilick Directors also announced that they will be interested in covering all countries in Africa with time.

Yilick faces competition from major similar apps such as Jiji, Tunda, etc
Mobile application[edit]
Yilick has an Android App which is available in Uganda and South Sudan. The app is listed among the top five buy and sell apps in Uganda on Play Store.
