Vineet Kumar is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of 2020 batch. He is presently posted in the sensitive assignment at Moscow in Russia.[1]
Vineet Kumar entered Indian Foreign Service in 2020.
He is married to Tanaya Thakur, daughter of Amitabh Thakur, an ex IPS officer and political activist from Lucknow while political and social activist Dr Nutan Thakur, while senior IAS officer Avinash Kumar from Jharkhand is Tanaya's uncle.[2][3][4][5][6]
