Völur AS is a Norwegian software as a service company headquartered in Oslo, Norway..[1] that provides software and Artificial Intelligence (AI) optimization services for the meat industry. The company's main software product is Völur Carcass Value Optimization system.[2]
Their AI software provides meat producers with an optimal production plan that enables higher utilization of animals, demand satisfaction, and revenue increase while reducing inventory levels and waste.[3][4] Völur's largest customer is JBS USA.[5][6][7]

Founded in 2019, Völur combines deep technical and industry knowledge, and uses data and AI to empower meat processors with optimal sorting and cutting decisions, to maximize carcass value throughout the whole value chain.[8][9][10]
In 2022, Völur raised $3 million in a Seed round from Silicon Valley investors, with Fusion Fund as a primary investor, joined by Scribble Ventures and Beat Ventures, as well as Norwegian Idékapital, and StartupLab.[11]
In 2023, Völur has become a Microsoft Global Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and joined Microsoft Azure Marketplace[12]
