The Theory of Every Language (Albanian: Teoria e çdo gjuhe) proposes that every language can be traced back far enough to where every language sounds alike or the same. This theory is commonly associated with Albanian historian Agron Dalipaj and more, such as Elena Kocaqi. He argues that the Albanian language is the oldest in Europe because it contains monosyllabic words such as "ha" (eat), "pi" (drink), "rri" (stay) and more, which only the Albanian language commonly has. In addition, some Albanian dialects, such as Gheg Albanian or the type of Albanian that people from the Malësia region talk, have even shorter words such as "u" (I) and "a" (am), which can be combined to form phrases like "U a" (I am) or "Aty o" (There it is). A person who speaks Gheg Albanian can say " U a ai" which means "I am him". These words are not very common in Gheg Albanian, since these are now only used in mountainous/old cities and villages, and not in every Gheg-speaking place. The rest of the modern Gheg Albanian places, say "I am him" as "Un' jo' ai".

More Reasons

Agron Dalipaj makes it clear that Albanian is the oldest language in Europe and even in the world, because languages have started with one-syllable words, and have worked their way up to what we now have 3-6+ syllable words. These one-syllable words cannot be found in any language except Albanian, which further proves the point of Agron Dalipaj.

He mainly proves his point with etymologies of words from different languages, which he uses Albanian to find the meaning of the words. Some examples are the Albanian word "Jorgan" which means blanket, Agron Dalipaj says that if we flip the word, we get "na 'groh" which means "keeps us warm" in the Albanian language. He uses another example, he uses the words "Semplice-Panda" (Semplice is Italian and means forever and Panda means forever in the Greek language). He makes a point of saying that Panda is used as the word for forever, which is uninterrupted time because it is always. Agron Dalipaj says that panda means uninterrupted also in the Albanian language since the Gheg Albanians say the word "uninterrupted" as "pa nda' " and in the Tosk dialect as "pa ndarë". He then uses the word "Sempre" and puts an apostrophe between the letters S and E, making "S'empre" which in the Albanian language means untouched, he explains this by saying that forever, is time that does not end/is not touched or disturbed by anything. Agron Dalipaj has also made a book called "Greqishtja: Një bijë e Shqipes" which means "Greek: A daughter of the Albanian" where he explains Greek words to both dialects of the Albanian language and even shows how they have evolved to how they are now.
