Background Shower Power is [arguably] the biggest and most prolific male Christian acapella group in Zimbabwe, and one of the most illustrious Adventist musical ensembles in Africa. It was founded in 1992:[1]. The group has travelled internationally and recorded 11 albums — Experience, Time has run out, God in His Mercy, Spirit of God, Today, Holy Life, Hymns, The Journey, Latter Rain, 25th Anniversary album "Salting the Earth Through Song" and Royal diadem.[2] . Their most popular songs are Jesu anondidisisa, Without love[3] and Simba rangu[4].

Members
Shower power in now in its tenth generation and some members overlap from one generation to another. Mandikudza Sithole, now retired, has been the longest serving member and director of the group. He sang with the group for 25 years (1997-2022) [2]. The group is now being directed by Jeremiah Janda. All the members in this group are Seventh-Day Adventist church members.
