Shervin Ghetei (Persian: شروین قطعه‌ای; born March 13, 1970) is an Iranian voice actor who is known for Persian voice-dubbing foreign films and TV programs. He was born in Tehran. He is known for dubbing over Johnny Depp's role as Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean film series and has also dubbed over some of Mark Wahlberg and Tobey Maguire and Ryan Reynolds's voice roles in films they starred in[1].

Life and Career[edit]

Shervin Ghetei In 1992, at the suggestion of his father, Amir Hoshang Ghetei[2], a dubbing director and voice actor with an Iranian background, entered the field of voice acting[3], and due to his intelligence and talent, he soon attracted the attention of other great dubbing directors of that time, such as Bahram Zand. Nasser Tahmasb and Jalal Maghami placed in a position and progressed quickly and became one of the giants of the field of voice acting[4] in his generation, who teaches this field today. he did his first voice acting in the Iranian film Ayenah and Mardab, directed by Jalal Maghami, but his voiceover in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series instead of the character of Captain Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp is Shervin Ghetei's most lasting work.[5]
