Rohaan Arjun (born 16 September 1980),[1] is an Indian playback singer, composer and arranger, live performer in Bollywood.[1]He worked as a Composer & Playback Singer in Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Bhojpuri and other indian languages.[1]
Biography[edit]
Rohaan Arjun is a student of Julien Day School. Later on he completed his graduation through Ashutosh College.As a passionate aviator, flying airplanes and helicopters is his favourite hobby. He loves to have Indian and Chinese Food.[1]
Musical background[edit]
Rohaan Arjun initially inherited music from his parents. His father was a bengali singer and mother a classical singer. At a very early age he completed the 5th year Diploma in Tabla from Chandigarh Prachin Kala Kendra.[1]
After that he started learning Sitar from Pt. Deepak Chowdhury,the deserving disciple of The Sitar Maestro Pt. Ravi Shankar.Then he shifted himselft to light music and started doing the Background Score for the eminent reciter Bratati Bandyopadhyay.Parallelly started doing live shows as a vocalist and also music remixes as an arranger.[1]
Early projects[edit]
His first remixed album RD Club Mix released through Saregama[1][2][3] in 2003 was a blockbuster.Following this, his next release Kalyani Black Label Strong Superhits of Saregama[1][4] was another hit.After that his Bhojpuri Album Kehu Lutera Kehu Chor[1] acquired national fame with the song "Rajai Bina Ratia Kaise Kati".[1] Thereafter he worked in various regional albums and films. Finally he moved to Mumbai and acquired fame with his Super Hit remix albums, released through Tseries, Saregama, Universal, Magnasound, Venus etc.[1]
Recent projects[edit]
Worked as an arranger of the song "Mash Allah" from the Movie Ek Tha Tiger under the music director duo Sajid-Wajid.[1][5] His remix song "Dil Naiyo Lagda"[6][7] from the film Tezz is a blockbuster through Ishtar Music[8] (previously known as Venus Records).Released about more than 75 hit songs including remixes and versions through his official youtube channel Rohaan Arjun Official.Recently he has launched his own Audio Recording Studio (Black Magic Studios) with the latest Yamaha DM3 Mixer in Kolkata.[9]

"Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi", a duet with Neha Kakkar is coming soon, belonging to the Music Label T series.[1]
"Gabru", a song of Yo Yo Honey Singh, recreated by Tanishk Bagchhi, sung by Rohaan Arjun, belonging to Music Label T series.[1]
"Ek Haseena Thi" , is a remix song sung by Rohaan Arjun, is going to be released through Saregama.[1]
"Gori Nakhra Tera", a punjabi song , to be released though T series.[1]
Rohaan Arjun has sung playbacks for some upcoming Bollywood Movies under the patronage of music composers like Vishal & Sheykhar , Pritam , Himesh Reshammiya . to name a few , will be published under the banners of YRF , Saregama , Sony Music , T series . etc.[1]
