Draft:Rethink Trade

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rethink Trade is an American organization that focuses on analyzing international trade, investment agreements, policies and outcomes, and advocating for necessary changes.

History and Leadership[edit]

Rethink Trade was founded in 2022 by Lori Wallach, the founder of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch, which she directed for 26 years.[1][2][3]

Rethink Trade is a division of the American Economic Liberties Project (AELP).[4]

Activities:[edit]

Rethink Trade was established to analyze trade and investment agreements, policies and outcomes, and to advocate for change. This has included the creation and support of good jobs with workers empowered to earn decent wages, public health and safety delivered by strong consumer and environmental protections, resilient supply chains and fair markets, and the ability for those who will live with the results to decide the policies affecting their lives.[5][6][7][8][9]
