History: a traditional shooter native to the community of Miramichi, New Brunswick. Peter Mitchell was a Canadian Father of Confederation and the first Minister of Fisheries and Oceans. He was awarded a gold Dent chronometer and chain in 1874 for his service to the community and the young dominion.
