[Outshine] are a gothic rock/metal band from Sweden.^[1]

Biography[edit]

Formed in Smålandsstenar around 1995 by founder Jimmy Boman (ex Norberg) but relocated to Gothenburg in the early 2000s.

They have released 4 studio albums, the latest being "The Awakening" on Rockshots Records 2022.^[2]

Career[edit]

The band started out as a studio project until 2002 and in 2007 the first studio album "Bad things always end bad" was released through Dead Tree Music - Sound Pollution. The band has had many different line-ups through the years, only founder and main songwriter and lyricist Jimmy appearing on all recordings to date. In 2013 they did a tour of Scandinavia supporting Paradise Lost and has of today done 8 US-tours between 2005-2022. They remain one of the leading bands in their genre in Sweden and continues to tour and record.
