Officer Candidate Course Reserve Officer Training Corps OCC ROTC is one of the course offered in Philippine Army Officer Candidate School.[1]

In accordance with the SDF dated 29 October 2020 states that OCC ROTC Program will substitute the existing OPC Program. However, for the preparation of transition of the program, Office of the Chief of Staff, AFP forwarded a memorandum dated 16 August 2021 where a Transitory Clause Circular No 4 GHQ, AFP dated 28 January 2021 allowing the Call-to-Active Duty (CAD) of Reserve Officers into the Regular Force until 15 January 2022. With this, the OPC CL 73-2022 supposedly will be the last batch for OPC Program, However, due to the deficient applicant of OCC-ROTC CL 02-2022, where only three passed, it was decided that OCC ROTC CL 02-2022 and OPC CL 73-2022 will be merged into one class, the OCC-ROTC CL 02-2022. This merge of two classes is already part of the history of the Officer Candidate School.

OCC-ROTC CL 02-2022 is composed of different professionals, coming from both civilian organization and in military institution, which could contribute to the capacity building of the Philippine Army to achieve the vision of the Philippine Army that by 2028 to become a world-class army that will be sourced of National Pride. Thus, OCC-ROTC CL 02-2022 aiming in leaving a legacy that will be emulated by the next generation of not only by the military officers but as well as by all military institution. Thus, OCC-ROTC CL 02-2022 ay isang ALAMAT

Graduation and Send Off Ceremony[edit]

Twenty-one (21) members of Officer Candidate Course Reserved Officer Training Corps "ALAMAT" Class 02-2022 graduated on 14 December 2022. Senior Undersecretary Jose C Faustino, the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of National Defense, graced the occasion.[2]
