Motor Scout Australia was recognised as the 21st & 69th Fastest growing startups in Australia buy the Australian Financial Review in 2021 and 2022 respectively and awarded the best online vehicle sales company by ProductReview.com.au for 3 years running from 2021-2023. In 2023 it was also awarded as the 62nd fastest growing startup in the Asia-Pacific region by the Financial Times.

Motor Scout Australia was founded by Peter Gee in Kingscliff, Australia in April 2018 after he personally had a terrible car buying experience which spawned the Motor Scout concept.
In 2022, Motor Scout entered the finance arena to help compliment their car buying service by also offering it's clients a comparison of different lenders to ensure customers not only get a great deal on their finance, but can so so, hassle-free.
