Mini Castles

Mini Castles is a Holiday mostly forgotten in the modern world, but was long ago celebrated by the three founding families of a small village called Xylofagou in Cyprus. The three founding families spent much of their resources building homes they believed to be bigger than the other founding family's. Each patriarch refused to believe the other men's castles were bigger, and a war broke out within a couple months of the castles construction being completed.

The war lasted among their families for the next century, it is still considered active, as the kinfolk have kept up their ancestors feud.

(Sort of like a Romeo and Juliet situation).

On April 13th, the war was started and the villagers all chose sides accordingly. Only, the wives of the founding families believed their husbands to be dizzards, and hatched a plan to undermine the war efforts. They proposed to their husbands, that they needed a code-word to know whether who they were speaking to was an ally or not. Only, all the women proposed the same clever saying "Mini Castles, My Lord," as not one man had wanted to claim having the smaller castle. As the war is ongoing, if you happen to meet someone from Xylofagou, make sure you greet them with a "Mini Castles, My Lord," to show them that you are truly an ally.

OR

On April 13th, some celebrate the beginning date of this war by greeting their friends and families with a "Mini Castles!"
