Joey Buchanan (born May 13, 2007) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays for Canadian Premier League club Vancouver FC.
Early life[edit]
Buchanan began playing youth soccer with Squamish YSA, later joining Mountain FC and North Vancouver FC.[1] In 2023, he joined Burnaby FC, where he won both the B.C. provincial championship and the Under-17 boys National Championship.
Club career[edit]
In 2024, at age 16, after participating in the club's open trials, Buchanan signed a developmental contract with Canadian Premier League club Vancouver FC, which allows him to continue playing with his club team and VFC's affiliate Burnaby FC in League1 British Columbia.[2][3]
