In India, a case of examination fraud was uncovered involving the use of Iperius Remote, orchestrated by two individuals operating a coaching institute and facilitated by an accomplice with technical expertise.[14][15] The group developed software that was capable of masquerading as legitimate operating system files, enabling it to circumvent advanced security measures employed by examination authorities.[14][15] Prior to the detection of this fraudulent scheme, it is reported that over 200 individuals successfully employed the services provided by this group to pass various online competitive examinations.[14][15]
