Henry Patterson is a British singer, producer and entrepreneur. Patterson, the son of Julian and Rebecca Patterson, started his first business aged 9 and has collaborated with notable figures including Richard Branson and Cameron Mackintosh.

Patterson has been playing concerts since 2024 and is releasing his debut album in 2025.

Early life[edit]

Patterson was born on January 15th 2004 in Northamptonshire, the only child of Julian and Rebecca Patterson. He grew up in Bedfordshire.

He attended Swanbourne House School from 2009 to 2014.

Career[edit]

2013–2018: Early business and public speaking[edit]

In 2013, Patterson founded Not Before Tea, a children's brand based on a book he wrote aged 9, The Adventures of Sherb and Pip.[1] The brand sold products featuring characters from the book.

In 2016, Patterson spoke at Retail Week Live as a keynote speaker where he shared a stage with the vice presidents of Google and Facebook. The event took place at the O2 Arena.[2]

Patterson published his book Young & Mighty on May 15th 2018.[3] The part autobiograpghy, part business book featured collaborations with Richard Branson, Mike Krieger, Cameron Mackintosh and Ariana DeBose.

Patterson was a keynote speaker for Success Resources from 2017-2019. During this time, he embarked on a world speaking tour, visiting countries across Europe and Asia.

2020–2021: TikTok and political parodies[edit]

During the 2020 United States presidential election, Patterson began writing and performing satirical parodies of musical theatre songs and uploading them to his TikTok account.[4] Patterson would impersonate American and British politicians including Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi, Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock while recording his songs. The videos attracted over 15 million views. The songs caught the attention of BBC Sounds podcast, Americast hosted by Jon Sopel and Emily Maitlis and were regularly played on the show.

2022–present: Potters Resorts and debut solo performance[edit]

Patterson started working as an entertainer/singer at Potters Resort, a hotel resort in the UK in May 2022. In 2023, he co-hosted the resort's podcast The All Exclusive Podcast.[5]

On February 28th 2024, Patterson made his London debut at The Pheasantry, Chelsea with his sold-out cabaret show Around the Corner. The show featured rearranged classics by Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Cole Porter.

In September 2024, Patterson is recording his live album Henry Patterson: In Concert at The Pheasantry, due for release in early 2025.
