Henry Ade was a steel guitar player and country music promoter. He was widely known and respected by many in the music industry. He played with many of the greatest artists of the time such as Patsy Cline, Billy Walker, Bobby Helms, The Lennon Sisters, Loretta Lynn, Louis Armstrong, Tex Ritter, Jim Ed Brown, Gail Davis (Annie Oakley), The Duke of Paducah, Ernest Tubb, Smiley Burnette, and so many more.

Early Career: Henry started playing steel guitar at the age of 9 and went professionally at the age of 13. He played backup for many artists including several Grand Ole Opry members. He started his own band called 'Henry Ade and His Stardusters' in the mid 1950's. They played all over Indiana including the then ever-so-popular Buck Lake Ranch. Henry's most notable recording was with Bobby Helms (whom he played and toured with often) in the song "Jingle Bell Rock."

Later Career: As the years went on, Henry began to turn his interest to the business side of the music industry. The Duke of Paducah introduced Henry to Tennessee Jim Leake, a promoter at the time. Tennessee Jim and Henry went into business together until Jim's passing in 1982. At this point, Henry and his wife Judy, took over the business and changed the name to Henry Ade Productions, Inc. Henry went on to become a lifetime member of the Country Music Academy (CMA), a long time member and honoree of International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), and was awarded so many honors throughout his career from many notable organizations.
