Comment: Sources 1 and 4 are the same, just in a different language, meaning they're clearly based on a press release or similar. Source 2 is the same. Hamstamania is a mobile game developed by gaming studio Vireye LLC, categorized under casual competitive gaming. It was released on October 12, 2023, for both Android and iOS platforms. The game features a collection of hamster characters, each customizable with unique skins, set within a virtual hamster town. Matches in Hamstamania are designed to be brief, with each lasting less than 90 seconds, and the game includes a variety of mini-games suitable for players of all ages.:^[1]

Development and Release[edit]

Vireye, with a team led by Vitalii Korshunov,^[2] launched Hamstamania as part of its portfolio. The game was one of three titles soft-launched by the studio in the fall of 2023, alongside "OuMua," "Hamstamania," and "Stellar Sports". The development of Hamstamania leveraged technologies such as Unity, Substance Surfaces, Maya, and 3D Max to create its engaging gameplay and distinctive animated graphics.

Gameplay[edit]

The gameplay of Hamstamania centers around competitive mini-games, with a focus on quick, accessible gameplay sessions.^[3] The primary goal is to provide entertainment and enjoyment through these mini-games, allowing players to earn in-game currency for purchasing accessories for their hamster characters. This in-game currency aims to facilitate character customization and enhance the player's experience within the hamster town.

Mini-Games[edit]

Upon release, the game included several mini-games^[4]

Hamsta Runner: A racing game where players navigate a hamster wheel, avoiding obstacles and competing against other players.
Hamsta Dodger: A game of survival on a platform where players attempt to remain the last hamster standing.
Hamsta Jumper: A game focusing on vertical progression, where players jump from cloud to cloud, collecting items and aiming to reach the highest point.

Future updates, planned for early 2024, intend to introduce additional mini-games and mechanics to maintain player engagement and expand the game's content.
