The Collinwood Train Depot,[2] also known as the Collinwood Railroad Station, in Collinwood, Tennessee, was built in 1916. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]

It was a station of the Tennessee Western Railroad.[3]
The Tennessee Western Railroad operated from 1912 to 1939, and was later incorporated into the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.[4]
The railroad line did not survive the Great Depression.
To make matters worse, the former Tennesse Western tracks were removed by the L&N between 1940 and 1941.
Since that time, it has been used as a private residence, a warehouse and a grist mill. In 1965 it served as the new location for Collinwood City Hall.
By 1980 it became a senior citizens center.
On September 4, 2001, it became a library and museum.
It is now the Collinwood Depot Library, per Google maps.
