Christopher (Chris) Phelen (born December 19, 1977) is a candidate in the 2024 Republican Primary for Colorado's 4th congressional district, running against incumbent Lauren Boebert.[1]

He received a bachelor's degree from Princeton University in 2000, a law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2005,[2] and has a combined 20 years of experience in politics, law, and business.[3]

He has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge from Americans for Tax Reform, promising to vote against all income tax increases if elected to Congress.[4]

Phelen previously served as military legislative assistant, deputy chief-of-staff, and chief-of-staff to Congressman Doug Lamborn (Colorado's 5th congressional district).[5]
