Chedi Afifeh (Gent, 17 september 2004) is a professional Belgian footballer who usually plays as a striker. He has played for Beerschot VA.[1] since the 2020/2021 season.
Clubcareer[edit]
Chedi previously played in the strong youth of Club Brugge. With his qualities, he could also count on interest from Chelsea, PSV, Bayern Leverkusen and Arsenal FC. Until 2018, he made the switch to Zulte Waregem close to his home shortly after that he played two more single seasons in the Beveren football shirt. His talent was quickly noticed by the Kiel football team Beerschot, which allowed him quickly at a very young age at the beginning of the 2020/2021 season he joined Beerschot[2],Jong Beerschot[3] and train with the A team that season in the Jupiler Pro League, the highest level in Belgium. Until now, Chedi Afifeh has been noticed by Belgian football club KAA Gent, KV Mechelen and Royal Antwerp FC. Chedi Afifeh holds a triple nationality of Belgium, Tunisia and Syria. He has already played for the Tunisian under-17 and under-20 teams. Chedi Afifeh[4] was called up to participate in the qualifier for the Africa Cup U17 and several friendly matches.
