Central Colored School is a historic building in Louisville, Kentucky. It was dedicated in 1873 and served African American students during segregation. It is at 542 West Kentucky Street and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

J. B. McElfatrick's firm designed the school. It is in the Limerick neighborhood. High school grades were added in 1882, establishing Louisville Central High School. In 1884 it was renamed Mary D. Hill School and served white students.[1]

Cassius Clay graduated from Central High School in 1960. He won a gold medal in Rome the same year.[1] Other alumni include Elmer Lucille Allen, [[Alberta O. Jones]], and Lenny Lyles.[1]
