Robert Aaron Pietrack is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head men's basketball coach at Fort Lewis.[1] At the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season he ranked.
Early Life and Education[edit]
A graduate of Eagle Valley High School in Eagle, CO, Pietrack was a four-year starter at point guard.[2] He earned all-state honors twice and all-conference accolades three times in basketball.[1] He holds the Colorado 3A record for career assists (702) and led the state in assists three seasons.[1] He also earned all-state honors four times as a first baseman in baseball and was a two-time all-state performer at quarterback in football.[1]
Pietrack graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.[1] He completed his master’s degree in health and human performance from Fort Hays State University in 2008.[1]
Coaching Career[edit]
Pietrack started his coaching career as the Assistant Coach for Fort Lewis in 2004, he served under legendary coach Bob Hofman. [1] Pietrack was named the head coach in June 2015 following 11 years as an assistant or as Associate Head Coach. [1]
In nine seasons as the Head Coach at Fort Lewis Pietrack currently owns a career record of 189-75 (.716) with a 131-60 (.686) mark through league play: both currently stand as the highest winning percentages in program history.[1]
Pietrack has won three regular season RMAC Championships (2022, 2017, 2015) and three RMAC Conference Championships (2023, 2022, 2015). [1]
