Best Served Cold is an upcoming American dark fantasy film directed by Tim Miller and produced from Skydance Media and Miller's production company Blur Studio. It is based on the novel of the same name by Joe Abercrombie, who will write and co-produce the film, as it's first standalone story and an installment of his The First Law series, taking place after the third novel of the series, Last Argument of Kings.
Premise[edit]
Setting within a land of warring city-states reminiscent of Renaissance Italy, a mercenary, Monza Murcatto, embarks on a quest for revenge when she is betrayed.

Production[edit]
It was announced in May 2023 that Tim Miller was set to direct an adaptation of Joe Abercrombie's novel which Abercrombie will adapt, with Rebecca Ferguson in final negotiations to star in the film.[1] In June, Ferguson confirmed she was cast in the film.[2]
