Anthony Schulz (born 8 August 1968) is an Australian accordionist, pianist, composer, and educator.[1][2][3] As part of the internationally acclaimed world music ensemble Zulya and the Children of the Underground,[4] he was awarded an ARIA award for Best World Music Album in 2007.[5] He was a member of Australian world/jazz ensemble Frock from 1996-2016.[6]

Schulz has had three compositions added to the Australian Jazz Real Book[7] and has recorded a number of compositions commissioned for the duo with cellist Rachel Scott -- a project that has been performing and recording since 2013.[8]

Schulz completed a Master of Music Performance at Melbourne University (VCA) in 2011. His thesis is titled Liminality: Transformation through Music Performance
