- Comment: Note Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amini (startup), which just closed. Without the suggestion to draftify, this would have been deleted. So please put in the time to explore a merger with Kallot otherwise this will not survive in mainspace. Star Mississippi 15:11, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
Amini is a Nairobi-based climate technology startup founded in 2022, that focuses on solving Africa's environmental data gap through artificial intelligence and satellite technology. In March 2022, Amini raised a US$2 million pre-seed investment round. In 2023, the company raised an additional US$4 million in seed funding led by Salesforce Ventures and Female Founders Fund to further develop its technology platform.[1]
The purpose of Amini is to build a comprehensive environmental data source for Africa to support sustainability efforts and supply chain resilience. Its founder, Kate Kallot, specializes in AI innovation and technology. For her efforts through Amini, Time magazine called Kallot one of the top 100 most influential people of 2023.[2][3][4][5]
Amini utilizes AI and space technologies to provide environmental insights for farmers.[6][7][8][9][10]
